With a proven track record of successful CPM implementations, he is able to transform requirements into proven solutions that bridge the gap between IT and Finance departments, Senior Management and other stakeholders. On any cold winter weekend, Peter can be found in the Town of the Blue Mountains, where he is an avid skier, providing him a weekly getaway to work on his craft on the slopes. In the summer, Peter works on his garden and loves to bike on the trails around town. Family time is important to Peter and he is often planning their next family vacation for a lifetime of special memories. Peter is a lifetime supporter of the Maple Leafs and will always find time in his day to get caught up on their progress, and never misses a game.

Colin, with over 25+ years of experience in financial systems integrations, ensures the architectural plan is executed within disparate data environments and that clients are provided with the best solutions for their needs.

Colin is Ascend’s lead technical and data transformation specialist. He has 25+ years of experience delivering data transformations in the CPM and ERP marketplaces. His specialties include connecting disparate financial system data though countless integration projects using the Hyperion suite of products, OneStream, SQL Server, Oracle database, several data warehouse platforms and other Business Intelligence toolsets.

Colin’s core OneStream expertise lies within understanding the sophisticated OneStream business rule and integration framework (including complex REST, SOAP and direct SQL connectors), and providing clients with the best route to success from a technical and data integration standpoint. This includes helping them realize the potential of OneStream’s data intelligence through dashboards, reporting and cube views.

Growing up in both western Canada and The Netherlands, it is natural that Colin is a winter-sport enthusiast. What may not be as natural is his opposing sport choices: curling and skiing. A lover of travel, he has also enjoyed skiing on some of the most famous slopes in North America and Europe, and of course, even the grand slope in Dubai. 

His favourite cuisine is Thai and often pairs good food with exquisite wine choices. Having spent part of his childhood growing up in Europe, he has traveled the continent extensively, and then continued the travel tradition into adulthood. With just one continent left to check off his list, he is continuously on the lookout for the next grand adventure.
