Ascend Partners Launches CLIMB Program

One of Ascend’s proudest milestones this year was the launch of CLIMB (Consultants Learning IT, Management, and Business)—the first career development program in the OneStream ecosystem. Designed to cultivate the next generation of professionals, CLIMB reflects our commitment to growing the community and creating pathways for talent to thrive.

The response was extraordinary: over 1,100 applications from professionals eager to elevate their careers. After a rigorous selection process, six individuals joined the program and began training in September. This marks the start of something transformative—a hands-on approach to building expertise and confidence in OneStream solutions.

Looking ahead, CLIMB’s success is just the beginning. We’re excited to expand the program, welcome new participants, and continue fostering a skilled community that drives innovation across the OneStream landscape. The future is bright—and CLIMB is helping shape it.

In May, Team Ascend joined finance leaders and innovators in Nashville for OneStream Splash 2025—and the energy still resonates. Splash wasn’t just about technology; it was about people, progress, and possibilities for modern finance. Ascend was proud to play a key role as sponsor, speaker, and contributor.

From our booth to the Welcome Party, we sparked conversations on how AI, automation, and scalable platforms are transforming the CFO’s office. Connecting with leaders who share our vision for aligning strategy and technology was incredible.

A highlight of the week: our speaker session with Mattamy Homes, showcasing their finance transformation journey. By automating forecasts and cutting planning cycles by 75%, Mattamy proved how agile and future-ready finance can be with OneStream. 2025 Team Workday & Summer Social in Toronto, ON

On July 17, Ascend Partners hosted its in-person GTA Workday and Summer Social in Toronto, bringing together nearly 40 team members alongside managers and executives. Many out-of-town colleagues were already in the city for Q2 Manager and Executive Sessions—creating the perfect chance for the broader team to connect face-to-face.

The day began with an insightful Consolidation & Accounting training session led by Bruno Di Pietro and Dan Mayer, followed by our Monthly Assembly celebrating Q2 Ascend Champions. After lunch and lively conversation, the afternoon featured creative, collaborative activities organized by our Social Committee. We closed with breakout sessions and a well-earned dinner at Milestones.

This event was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and build community across regions. Moments like these remind us that our greatest strength lies in our people—and we’re excited to keep creating spaces for connection as Ascend grows.

In 2025, Ascend’s growth was powered by its people. We welcomed 30 new hires across consulting, sales, technology, marketing, and operations—expanding our team to 115 professionals and strengthening support for OneStream customers at every stage. These additions reflect where clients see the most value: deepening technical expertise, adding experienced consultants and architects, and investing in roles that elevate delivery and innovation.

With 18 OneStream Professional Certified Lead Architects and a growing, diversified team, Ascend ended 2025 better positioned than ever to help organizations maximize their OneStream investment and scale with confidence.

Project Growth

In 2025, Ascend saw strong momentum in project volume and customer engagement, with 23 projects completed and 28 new projects kicking off across diverse industries. Just as importantly, our work evolved: projects grew larger, broader in scope, and more complex—especially in planning, where organizations seek deeper integration, advanced modeling, and enterprise-wide enablement.

This expansion reflects growing confidence in Ascend’s ability to deliver end-to-end OneStream solutions, from core consolidation to sophisticated planning, analytics, and operational use cases. 2025 marked another step forward in supporting customers with initiatives that go beyond point solutions to deliver lasting, scalable value on the OneStream platform.
