We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director with expertise in OneStream and architectural design to join our dynamic team. The senior executive will be a OneStream Lead and will develop and execute a strategy to grow Ascend Partners’ OneStream business in North America. The Director is focused on building a sustainable and scalable business by identifying key plays that will increase bookings, maximize our cross-selling capabilities, and deepen client relationships.
The Director will manage a team of 3 to 5+ Senior Managers and Managers within the Functional and Technical consulting divisions. This role also requires a deep understanding of financial systems architecture, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Ascend Partners Functional and Technical teams.
- Lead the design and architecture of OneStream solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of OneStream with existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation.
- Develop and execute the technical strategy for OneStream implementations, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Facilitate various levels of project meetings with senior managers, managers and project team members
- Maintain subject matter expertise in both Ascend’s and OneStream’s tools, methodologies, and services.
- Provide regular updates to staff and the executive team on the status of projects.
- Collaborate with various teams to provide influence and attain buy-in to solution execution.
- Collaborate as required with key Client contacts & Consultants to ensure all design and implementation criteria are met.
- Participate in executive meetings, ensuring that ongoing continuous improvement goals are being met and accountabilities are communicated to managers.
- Must be willing to travel and work from various business locations and remotely as applicable.
- Oversee compliance with all Ascend standards, tools, and methodologies and track to ensure that quality and agreed upon client requirements have been met on each assigned project.
Must Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated 10+ years of experience managing teams of other managers and consultants.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale financial systems projects.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in EPM/CPM project implementation with OneStream or Oracle Hyperion Computer Applications.
- Minimum of 8 years experience working in finance organizations with a focus on accounting and systems.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in leading structured projects and/or software package implementations.
- Deep functional and/or technical experience of OneStream cloud-based solutions, implementation, and architecture.
- OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Lead Architect
- Professional designations in Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology are preferred.
